My Sony a55 Camera Just Got Better

Well if you didnt know I got a new Sony a55 camera you sure will now. I just placed an order for a mint Minolta 100mm 2.8 macro lens. Since I never used autofocus in the past this thing is going to be Sweet!

The old Sony DSC-H1 was awesome for freehand photos of the fish and plants. I rarely used a tripod. I never used a flash. I cant say my pictures are perfect and you shouldnt use a tripod or flash for what I am doing but the steadyshot made things alot easier and one of the reasons I bought Sony again. The image stabilization is built into the camera body not the lens. The sharp 2.8 of the Minolta will allow me to continue what I do without a flash.

Now that Ive added this lengendary lens to my bag I should have some over the top photos to share from it. Stay tuned.
