Stinkbugs!

So I havent seen a great deal of stinkbugs in the new house but thats quite the contrary for my aquariums! I find stinkbugs in my tanks quite often.
With the stinkbug removal battle being so hard to find I think I may have stumbled on something... An open top aquarium is a great stinkbug trap! Stinkbugs seem to be attracted to water and perish quickly as they dont swim...judging by the tanks I find them in they are unable to crawl out onto plants, wood branches or tank trim. Unfortunately standing bodies of water leads to other undesirable pests like mosquitos so this water trap isnt a solution for everyone. The pesky bug seems to be attracted to water like a moth to a flame.
I try to remove the pests asap so they dont foul the water. Not quite sure if they have any effect on the fauna but I've found them in shrimp and fish tanks with no noticeable ill effects. The dead bug seems to rot away pretty quickly in the water.
